On the other side of the chamber is the alien colony that grew out of Dr. Beach's hand. Only bones are left of the hand but the colony has a strange "guardian stalk", egg pods which glow from within and one of those spider thingys which appears to have crawled out of the egg pod. You notice that the slimy growth has grown up the side of the containment tank and through a grill to the mouse cage beside it.
You see that the alien growth has killed the mouse and started another small colony. This is not what concerns you. What concerns you is that the slimy growth has crawled up the mouse's water faucet and has emerged out the water spicket into the room. Alien containment failure! The growth has snaked its way into the next chamber...
